Mike “Count Blockula” Crowley (Flickr) gives Rocky the old one-two vignette treatment:
The beef on the hooks is fantastic.
ImpreSariO recently posted this nice vignette featuring a monkey playing pranks on a bunch of golfers:
But what’s really unique about this vignette is the golf cart, which has a particularly ingenious SNOT (Studs Not on Top) building technique that connects the front wheels to the hood:
As Klocki points out, those are flex-tubes (which even hardcore purists must admit are okay to cut) inserted into the studs. Brilliant!
Christophe Bongay presents an innovative style of making a vignette – in a block! It’s creative, funny, and innovative, I like it.
Brothers Brick contributor Nannan’s Final Run “bignette” is featured in the current issue of the Official Xbox Magazine:
Congratulations, Nannan! Way to represent. ;-)
Jas Nagra puts air intakes from Racers sets to good use for a purple storefront that sells guns to people like “Tracy.”
Using the same basic architecture, Jas swaps the pieces for paninis:
Noddy depicts the clashing forces of Yin and Yang in a dynamic vignette. Check out the view from above, which cleverly forms the Yin Yang symbol (warning: may induce seizures).
There are two more similar vignettes created in the past. Check out Bruce’s Yin to my Yang and Moko’s White and Black.
Jarek‘s first little dio depicts an uncanny accident involving a forklift and what appears to be a dangerous nuclear waste bomb. This can’t be good, but what is good is the forklift model, which is so nicely constructed.
If you’ve seen some of the flip side of Rocko‘s castle dioramas, you’ll know he sometimes builds things that make you smile or laugh. Checkout this sled chase for example.
This next creation does not need any explanation, but it may be interesting to know that despite many efforts, Rocko can never make it past the K in real life.
Dave Lartigue (Flickr) puts some experimental weapons in the hands of the Undead, with devastating consequences for the Crown Knights.
Now witness the firepower of these fully operational Dyna-Gloves!
See more great action shots on Flickr.
Nick Dean (aka Kcaster) shows in a vignette how to deal with snipers, by taking them out with a bang! Sorry Camping Carl, you’ve been found.
