LEGO revs up an American classic with the Icons 10321 Corvette [News]

Hot on the trail of the Land Rover Defender comes the LEGO Icons 10321 Corvette. With 1,210 pieces, this set is sure to make any gearhead’s heart go pitter-patter. They’ve replicated the classic styling of the 1961 Corvette nicely in red with a black interior and white highlights. According to details on the back of the box, the model has opening doors, trunk, and hood. Also, either the hardtop can be removed or an alternate convertible version can be built to show off the detailed interior. The LEGO Icons 31321 Corvette will be available from LEGO stores and their website starting on August 1st, and will retail for a price of US $149.99 | CAN $199.99 | UK £129.99.

LEGO brings classic pirates back with the new 10320 Eldorado Fortress set [News]

LEGO Icons The Lord of the Rings 10316 Rivendell: Middle Earth just got bigger [Review]

LEGO’s standalone The Lord of the Rings theme is back after the better part of a decade-long hiatus, and it’s come back with a roar. A few small BrickHeadz sets have already been released, but the star of the newly revived theme is a massive diorama of Rivendell, the Last Homely House East of the Sea, where the Fellowship of the Ring is formed. The three-part diorama of the elven home spans almost 30 inches and is the first to include the entire fellowship together, with 21 minifigures in total. 10316 Rivendell includes 6,167 pieces and will be available for LEGO VIP members starting March 5, with general availability March 8. It will retail for US $499.99 | CAN $669.99 | UK £429.99.

LEGO reveals 10304 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 as next large-scale Icons vehicle [News]

Today LEGO has taken the wraps off the next large vehicle in the newly rebranded Icons theme (formerly Creator Expert), revealing the 10304 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. Based on the iconic 1969 muscle car, the Camaro Z28 will include 1,458 pieces and comes with the option to build as a hard top or convertible. You can also choose to include dark red, white, or light grey racing stripes, or choose between classic and hideaway headlights. It follows 10295 Porsche 911 Turbo & 911 Targa and 10298 Vespa 125 in the Icons vehicle collection. The Camaro will be available starting Aug. 1 for US $169.99 | CAN $209.99 | UK £149.99.
