Welcome to Day 14 of our LEGO Advent Calendar countdown. Each day, we’ll reveal the four mini-builds from the LEGO Harry Potter, LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Friends, and LEGO City 2019 advent calendars along with commentary from The Brothers Brick team.

If you’re opening one (or more) of these advent calendars along with us, we’ve made sure the pictures and commentary on each day’s models will be behind a jump so we don’t accidentally ruin the surprise. What pint-size surprises will be in Day 14’s prizes?

For Day 14, we have Hermione Granger from Harry Potter and a Tank Droid from Star Wars.

Dave: Wow! A third exclusive torso in the Harry Potter advent. LEGO is knocking it out of the park, this time with a Gryffindor scarf a buttoned robe that could work on any number of students. 10 points to Gryffindor! For Star Wars we have a Corporate Alliance Tank Droid, last seen in LEGO form in retired set 75015. For its size, it is a decent replica, but not one of my personal favorites from this year.

Lino: I’ll turn it into a Millennium Falcon. That’ll increase profits for sure!

Daniel: The droids finally realized what the word “tank” meant.

Benjamin: “It’s roger-ROGer, not roger-rogER.”

Edwinder: “Stick ’em up!” — “No… you stick ’em up!”

Continuing with Day 14, we have a train ornament from Friends and a table with cookies and milk from City.

Dave: This feels like one of the more substantial builds from the Friends advent this year, though it is only half the train from last year. Looks like they could be siblings! It works well and even has a puff of steam coming from the engine. The City table is charming, with a glass of milk and a cookie for Santa. That candle flame looks a little out of control, though!

Lino: The little engine that occasionally couldn’t. Also milk and cookies by an open flame.

Benjamin: That candle has burned dangerously low, with a massive flame. It’s too bad LEGO doesn’t have a smaller flame element for candles like have appeared in the Harry Potter advent!

Ryan: Maybe it’s a toasted marshmallow?

Whenever we can, we’ll mash up all the LEGO advent calendar builds from that specific day and see what kind of hilarity ensues. Please enjoy these hijinks!

Dave: That pesky hamster is back and has upgraded the train along with a magical flame-thrower cookie droid trying to get all the dough!

Daniel: As if worrying about robots taking over wasn’t stressful enough, now we have to worry about cute baby animals as well?

Lino: She was tangled in a web of danger and intrigue, caught between two lovers hellbent on winning over her heart any way possible. Read about it in a scorching new romance novel by Nora Jones.

Benjamin: And that’s why you DON’T give a droid a cookie!

Ryan: It’s a stickup!
