Well I’m going to take the vanity opportunity to post another of my creations here: an Antonov An-28 passenger plane as flown by Aeroflot. I’m pretty pleased with it. Can’t really think of much more to say so I’ll leave it there.

Joe Vig and the Ninjas
I threw this together last night, as a showcase for my new green ninjas. They are so cool…
In this scene the famously oblivious Joe Vig strolls through a bamboo forest. Will he escape alive? Of course, he’s Joe Vig!
One item to note is the complete lack of bricks and plates in this vignette. Now that was fun!
A couple of figs...
Wow, I haven’t posted in a long time. But I actually built some stuff last night, so I’m posting them!
The first fig has the extremely original name of “Samurai”. I mostly built this one to show off my rare ninja pieces. It makes my cousin (Kinux) mad when i do that…
The second, I call GoldenRed. I was really tired and couldn’t think of anything else…
Enjoy!
TRU Japan Exo-Force Mashup Contest
Toys R Us in Japan is sponsoring an Exo-Force Mashup Contest that challenges builders to combine any two Exo-Force sets into a new mecha. The two example mashups should be familiar to TBB readers — Van-Force and Naoe-Force. Several Japanese builders have already contributed entries.
Kwi-Chang gets things going with a mashup between 7700 Stealth Hunter and 7714 Golden Guardian:
Although I posted it earlier this week without any explanation, here’s Izzo’s combination of two copies of 8105 Iron Condor:
Finally, Sugegasa has promised to get in on the mashup action, but I haven’t seen the result yet.
Lion Sculpture by modelgal
Brickshelfer modelgal (Mariann Asanuma) puts the studs-not-on-top building techniques that made her dragon famous to good use again with a beautiful lion sculpture:

Wizards and Bone Warriors
Well, just one wizard, but a whole horde of bone warriors from Moko.
I love the use of bats in the wizard’s staff:
And the skeleton warriors are oh so shiny with their chrome armor:
Micro 10182 Cafe Corner by mumu
Excitement about 10182 Cafe Corner has been building in Japan ever since it was announced that a new specialty store called Toys R Us Select will be carrying this set. As Japanese fans start to get their hands on what some are calling the best LEGO set ever, it has started showing up on blogs and displays.
mumu couldn’t wait to get his, so he just made a microscale version instead:

Prague Post Interview with Egil Moller Nielsen
The Prague Post has a brief interview with The LEGO Company’s senior director of logistics for Europe and Asia, Egil Moller Nielsen. He discusses issues such as overcoming hard times at the company, moving production to The Czech Republic, and competing with other toy companies. Head on over to the Prague Post and read the interview (in English).
Adrian Drake’s Steampunk X-Wing
If the X-wings posted here recently are steps forward in time, and thus evolution, is a Victorian X-wing devolution? Not if it’s this cool:
Very nice, Adrian Drake!
