There must be something in the water in the Cologne area because derjoe, a sometimes collaborator with misterzumbi, seems to be producing motor vehicles of equally high calibre. His NYPD team are just spectacular

Micro 10182 Cafe Corner by mumu
Excitement about 10182 Cafe Corner has been building in Japan ever since it was announced that a new specialty store called Toys R Us Select will be carrying this set. As Japanese fans start to get their hands on what some are calling the best LEGO set ever, it has started showing up on blogs and displays.
mumu couldn’t wait to get his, so he just made a microscale version instead:

News: LEGO Factory 10190 Market Street
LEGO.com has a page dedicated to an upcoming LEGO Factory set called 10190 Market Street. The photos are still very small, but this looks like it’s going to be a gorgeous set:
According to LEGO.com, the set was designed by LEGO fan Eric Brok, and the set is modular — various components of the set are interchangeable (as demonstrated in a Flash animation), and Market Street can be integrated with 10182 Cafe Corner.
I’ll post more information as it becomes available. (EDIT: Let’s bump this to the top.)

Photo Review of 7991 Garbage Truck
LEGO kindly sent Ambassadors an early copy of 7991 Garbage Truck (mine arrived yesterday), and Mark Sandlin has already posted detailed photos on Flickr:
This is a fun little set with lots of orange (ornj, if you’re so inclined), the first-ever LEGO garbage (1×1 bits in several colors), and a Technic piece that hasn’t been used in too many SYSTEM sets until now. Click the picture to see the Grand Admiral’s photoset.
Don’t worry SEALUG, I’ll bring it to the meeting this Saturday. :-D
Just out of town
Jeramy Spurgeon has a fantastic layout module under work at the moment. He manages a very natural semi-urban feel with just the right amount of curves and layers.
Wild to be wreckage forever
Hey, it’s my blog, I can quote poetry if I want to. Michael Jasper presents a batch of wonderful — if unridable — motorcycles:
Well, you can ride them if you only have a torso, but that’s a sacrifice I’d be willing to make to look this cool:

BS user Pongsit has posted pictures of an enormous LEGO Suvarnabhumi Airport. Not sure if this is fan made or official but it’s certainly very impressive.
