Sean Jensen follows his terrific Steampunk X-Wing fighter with a brilliant take on that ubiquitous Imperial workhorse, the TIE Fighter. Giving Star Wars vehicles and characters a Steampunk makeover is nothing new, but Sean has nailed the precarious, ramshackle, and gilded style quite well. The chains governing the wings are quite a nice touch.
Escher’s Relativity has been made in Lego multiple times in the theme of space and castle, and now Paul Vermeesch puts a Star Wars twist on it.

Eurobricks member Anio‘s Naboo Royal Starship has fewer than 300 bricks, but who cares when they are custom chromed? Anio says he got the chrome parts from Chrome Block City, one of the two Bricklink stores with an extensive selection of custom chrome parts (the other one being Chrome Bricks).

If you enjoyed Martin Latta’s ARC-170 starfighter, you can now build your own thanks to the instructions posted by the builder. It’s rare that a builder takes the time to make instructions for models and shares them with the public. Even if you don’t plan on reconstructing the model, it can still be rewarding to peruse the building techniques used on a great model.
Matt De Lanoy built the Opee Sea Killer and Bongo Submarine 5 years ago but it’s not until now that he posted edited photos to do the model justice. You can see more pictures on Matt’s Flickr page.
