A couple weeks ago we started featuring curated LEGO auctions featured on Catawiki. Current auctions include some rather rare LEGO sets from the 70’s and 80’s, along with custom models by LEGO artists.
One of the most nostalgic LEGO sets from the Classic Space era is 928 Galaxy Explorer. A copy of the set complete with box and instructions in great condition is up for auction right now.

If you haven’t blown your holiday LEGO budget on the Black Friday deals from the LEGO shop (which go through Cyber Monday tomorrow), Amazon.com is spinning up its “Cyber Monday Week” sales, with a number of great deals on LEGO sets.

The LEGO Shop’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales and deals are happening this week, with UK sales already underway and US & Canadian sales starting at midnight Eastern Time on Friday, November 23rd (that’s Thanksgiving night at 9 PM for our readers on the west coast). Various LEGO sets are 20-30% off or more, and the holiday promotion this year is a Buildable Holiday Present set with purchases over $99/£85. At the same time, the new 10268 Vestas Wind Turbine is now available.
LEGO sent us an early copy of the promotional set, and it’s a lovely little set with 301 pieces that opens up, reminding us of both 75952 Newt’s Case and 21315 Pop-up Book.

Halloween marks the end of the month, so you have two days left to shop and maybe make bigger purchases like the Hogwarts Castle or Betrayal at Cloud City for the best discount. Whether you like LEGO BrickHeadz or not, there’s no denying that they make excellent sources of small parts for your own LEGO creations, often in unusual colors or with unique printed elements. If you’re more of a collector than a builder, BrickHeadz are also a solid investment, since sold-out BrickHeadz are going for two to three times their original price on the secondary market. Regardless of your motivation, LEGO that’s as much as 46% off is hard to pass up!

The LEGO Shop‘s sales & deals for May the Fourth 2018 are now online, revealing plenty to make the credits burn a hole in every LEGO Star Wars fan’s pockets. As we noted in our review of 75181 UCS Y-wing Starfighter earlier today, the new UCS set’s launch is the centerpiece for the May the Fourth event. Similarly, all LEGO Star Wars purchases over $75 qualify for a free 40288 BB-8 polybag to go with your R2-D2 from last year.
