Charlie Co. (aka Tim) continues to post great World War II creations, including a trio of adorable pinups sure to give comfort to little plastic Allies.
TBB reader mastergongfu sent us a link to new Flickrite Lego Monster‘s photostream recently, and it’s full of pictures of an awesome SR-71 Blackbird. Here’s hoping there’s lots more to come from Lego Monster.
Update: Tim informs us that “Lego Monster” is Ed Diment, already featured several times here on TBB.
Lend your ears to two more recent podcasts from LAML radio, highlighting subjects including Bionicle and the BZP community, Perhaps Plastic Explosives– a community for the lego military theme, and a tip on how to stay on top of recent lego creations and news from the community via RSS feed.
Prepare your drool-bucket, Flickrite Doctor Sinister has just posted some detailed pictures of Indiana Jones set 7622 Race for the Stolen Treasure. You can read his review on Eurobricks here.
EDIT (AB): Early reviews of other sets are starting to trickle in. Jonathan G. has more (via Klocki):
Tanks seem to be popular these days, thanks I’m sure due to the plentiful supply of treads in 7787 The Bat-Tank. Here’s Mike Yoder’s TII Raptor:
Love the Exo-Force stickers on the tank’s skirt. Don’t miss how Mike built the wheels.
Mark Stafford (aka Nabii) constructs an action-packed diorama called Crash-N-Burn. In the words of its creator, “if they shoot you down you take them out.”
I love Mark’s repeated use of the ice-cream pieces for the smoke, and just like in Hollywood, special effects aren’t cheap!
I was originally going to add a comment about this to Nannan’s post below but decided that while over a year old, this tank was worthy of its own post.
Magnus Lauglo’s excellent minifig scale Warlord tank is a very attractive model. What makes it even better is that it is fully motorised. What Magnus said. Enough said.

Carlos Encinas creates the first motorized tank I’ve seen called the Tiger. Click on the picture to read more about the model.
Check out the video of the tank in motion!
I am impressed by the functionality of the mindstorms kit. I am coincidentally working on my own motorized tank, but it uses a basic motor. This impressive demonstration of combining robotics with system certainly inspired me to consider using mindstorms in any future endeavors at motorized things.

Back in June I blogged Brickshelfer junlego’s Zero fighter. I didn’t say so at the time, but my only disappointment was that he built it in white, rather than the more typical dark green.
But now, behold his new, beautifully green Mitsubishi A6M5 “Zero” fighter:
