Crank up the Mystery Machine, the LEGO Scooby Gang – made by Magmafrost13 – are back in action! Daphne is looking chic as ever with her scarf made from a fern and don’t miss the little eyebrow detail Magma gave her. The gang is always trying to get a grip on whatever monster-of-the-week is running around, so they have hands made from little sticks! Finally I’ll draw your attention to the unique nose the builder gave each character. I think they match each character perfectly, and will certainly help Mystery Inc. sniff out some mayhem!

Have a nice trip, see you next fall
I feel bad for Timmy, and I feel even worse for his LEGO Bionicle collection. Builder Magmafrost13 has taught this Constraction collector a lesson in gravity with this round 1 entry into the Bio-Cup competition. With all the excellent parts usage in this creation, it’s hard to pick a favorite. But the use of a pair of Kanohi masks to form Timmy’s surprised face and hair is truly inspired!
Even leviathans feel a little crabby sometimes
Something slumbers in the depths beneath Shipwreck Reef, and Magmafrost13 gives it definition in LEGO form. The kaiju wakes when a massive ship of humanity’s hubris sinks and falls onto the reef. The leviathan reclaims the ship, adding its hull to its own reef encrusted exterior. Now the Crab of Shipwreck Reef comes for humanity. How cool is this build?! This cranky little kaiju features a Bionicle infrastructure with wonderful incorporation of some cool LEGO parts. Of course, what LEGO parts aren’t cool, eh? I especially like the use of the Pteranodon wings on the carapace by the face. The coloring and texture of the wings add some awesome definition. Another great usage I’m fond of is the use of the Bionicle heads for stone/part of the reef structure. There are even tiny little crabs in the reef, coming along for the ride to witness the leviathan’s retribution.
Take a seat with this anime character in her banana chair
After a long day, chilling out in a banana chair looks like a great way to relax. Magmafrost13 has built this dynamic looking character based on Black Hanekawa, from the Monogatari anime series, as she stretches out on a vibrant lounger. The chair has a complex construction as a variety of angled plates have been placed to create the arc of the banana chair. Magmafrost13 has perfectly captured the humanoid form of the anime character including the bend of the body with the chair. The hair has some greatly varied shaping with cat ears sprouting from the top of her head. A pyramid piece portrays the nose which is ideal for conveying the sharp, anime style.
