A long time ago, in a LEGO theme far, far away…. NikiFilik gives us a wonderful mashup of Star Wars and LEGO Castles in this cute vignette! Luke Skywalker crashes his knightly cart in the Dagobah swamps where lives Majisto the wizard. Majisto, much like Yoda, finds Luke to be lacking in confidence and belief in the Force–ahem, pardon–Magic of the land. Majisto must raise the cart from the murky waters lest it be claimed for all time. The bright colors in use here lend a cute and fairytale-like feel to the overall scene. The lovely sculpting of the grass and water also helps with this lively feeling, showing that Star Wars pairs nicely with other fairytale themes! I also love the door, with the different layers standing out. And shoutout to the horse watching over Luke’s shoulder–I can only assume its name is Artoo after that spunky little Astromech droid we all love.

LEGO Star Wars Diorama Collection 75330 Dagobah Jedi Training [Review]
LEGO recently announced its new Star Wars sub-theme for adult builders, the Diorama Collection, featuring three iconic scenes from the Original Trilogy. We’ve got our hands on the sets ahead of their release on April 26th, and we’re taking a closer look now at 75330 Dagobah Jedi Training, which includes exactly 1,000 pieces plus three minifigures, and will retail for US $79.99 | CAN $109.99 | UK £69.99. How does a set designed for adults in 2022 compare to the fairly recent, “Ages 7-12” 75208 Yoda’s Hut from 2018?
The LEGO Group provided The Brothers Brick with an early copy of this set for review. Providing TBB with products for review guarantees neither coverage nor positive reviews.
LEGO Star Wars 75329 Death Star Trench Run and 75330 Dagobah Jedi Training revealed [News]
Thanks to Amazon.es, we’re getting our first look at a pair of brand new Star Wars sets aimed at adult collectors. First up is 75329 Death Star Trench Run, a microscale diorama featuring the famous climactic scene from A New Hope, with Darth Vader’s TIE Advanced flanked by two TIE Fighters chasing Luke Skywalker’s X-wing against the greebled, grey backdrop of the Death Star. Printed tiles on the front of the base show the LEGO Star Wars logo along with Darth Vader’s famous line “The Force is strong with this one.” The Amazon page doesn’t yet list much information, but we do know the set contains 665 pieces and will retail for €59.99, which we estimate to be US $59.99 | CAN $79.99 | UK £54.99. We also get a sneak peek at another set that’s in the same series, 75330 Dagobah Jedi Training, which is listed for €79.99 or about $79.99 USD. There’s no official word yet on when we can expect these sets to be released, though given that Amazon has begun to list them, it’s a safe bet they’ll arrive soon.
