Get a jump on Black Friday deals with free shipping, free holiday set & more [News]

Today only, members of the LEGO VIP Program get early access to “Brick Friday” sales.

The free shipping amount has been lowered to $49.
At $99, you get this year’s exclusive holiday set for free (which can’t be purchased separately).
At $149, you get 10% off your whole order.

And since we haven’t mentioned it yet, the LEGO Shop now has a Retiring Soon page that highlights LEGO sets for which production runs will not be renewed, and so whatever LEGO currently has in stock is all that’s left.

Chief among these is the classic LEGO Castle set 10193 Medieval Market Village, unveiled at BrickCon 2009.

LEGO sales & deals for November 2012 [News]

The LEGO Shop has discounted a few sets by 10%, including 10219 Maersk Train. Ten percent isn’t a huge discount, but a couple of these are exclusive to LEGO stores, so you won’t find them on clearance at your local big box store.

Excluding things like keychains (wait for them to go down to 75% off and then harvest them for their organs — I mean, parts!) and flashlights, here’s the list:

Free shipping, 10228 Haunted House out, & free Monster Fighters mini-set [News]

The LEGO Shop online kicks off September with free shipping in the US, UK, and Canada on all orders over $75/£50, with a free Monster Fighters mini-set thrown in to sweeten the deal.

LEGO’s latest exclusive set, Monster Fighters 10228 Haunted House, has also just been released.

The set comes with six minifigs, over two thousand parts, and enough zombie heads to build a horde.

Amazon.com discounts LEGO Lord of the Rings sets

Adding to the LEGO Star Wars sets that are 30% off, Amazon.com has just discounted most of the LEGO Lord of the Rings line as well.

Some of the discounts have dropped or ended since I got Amazon’s email this morning, so this one might not last as long as the Star Wars sets.

The LEGO Shop online has just marked down a huge number of LEGO sets, some as much as 75% off.

Act quickly, because these types of deals are usually gone within a few hours.

There’s also a special promo for NinjaGo, which gets you a booster pack on all orders over $75.

Cyber-Monday LEGO deals [News]

The LEGO Shop online continues its Black Friday deals through Cyber-Monday, enabling all you procrastinators out there (or those of you who were traveling, like me) to get in on the shopping action.

LEGO Architecture 21010 Robie House 32% off from Amazon

Amazon.com keeps dropping the price of the recently released LEGO Architecture set 21010 Robie House. At the moment, it’s 32% off, for a savings of $64.

Price was one of the big complaints when this was released, so quit complainin’ and get shoppin’! Looks like it’ll make a great dark red parts pack.

October 2011 LEGO sales & deals [News]

Between BrickCon and my birthday, October has been a great LEGO month for me for the last few years, but it looks like the rest of you out there can share in the joy with a plethora of LEGO sales throughout the month.

First off, LEGO.com is offering double VIP points for the full month of October, and it looks like all magnets are 50% off.

The new holiday set 10222 Winter Village Post Office has just been released.

And in case you missed it, 10220 Volkswagen T1 Camper Van is also out.

Not to be outdone by TRU’s Bricktober (which we won’t be supporting since they dropped FBTB, TBB, and Brickset all at once with no explanation a while back), Amazon.com has heavily discounted several large sets, starting with 7965 Millennium Falcon at 25% off, or $105.

25% off is nice, but Amazon has several more at 30% off, including 7066 Earth Defence HQ and 2507 Fire Temple.

Finally, if you’re in the UK, October 8th brings free LEGO sets from The Sun.

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar now available [News]

The latest addition to LEGO’s line of Advent Calendars, LEGO Star Wars 7958 Advent Calendar, is now available! It features 8 minifigures (Santa Yoda anyone?), a mini X-Wing, mini Millennium Falcon, and 14 other Star Wars or Christmas-related mini-models. It is priced at US$39.99, which is comparable to the other advent calendars. Better pick up a couple of these for yourself and the Star Wars fans in your life.

10199 Creator Winter Toy Shop back in stock [News]

Seasonal LEGO sets can be hard to find if you miss the narrow window in time when they’re available, so it’s nice to get a chance to pick them up again if time got away from you the first time around. Thankfully, Amazon.com seems to have found a batch of 10199 Creator Winter Toy Shop sets buried in their warehouse.

Sure, we’re four months away from Christmas, but I doubt you’ll get a chance to complete your LEGO holiday town again, so pick them up while they’re still available online.

LEGO HP 4842 Hogwarts Castle $35 off from Amazon

Amazon.com has the LEGO Harry Potter set 4842 Hogwarts Castle (not to be confused with the smaller 4867 Hogwarts) at $95, down from the MSRP of $130.
