Krush is rapidly becoming one of my favorite builders. His newest creation depicts lovers from rival clans, in a secret, snowy meeting.
Rock (aka Rocko or RebelRock) is on a roll with his recent fantabulous and diversely themed castle dioramas. His most recent build is vikings! At this rate of building, Rock is going becoming one of my favorite castle builders.

Well, folks, I’m on a roll! Here is my first entry for the CCCV:
Just your basic farm, owned by troll. His name is Clancy and he’s a pacifist. Most trolls enjoy mucking about, destroying things, bashing people on the head, that sort of thing. Clancy likes peace and tranquility. However, that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t enjoy a good ham sandwich now and then!
I thought I’d try extending my troop of goblins from 7036 Dwarves’ Mine using the mandrake root heads from 5378 Hogwarts™ Castle
.
When I finished switching around the legs to make the goblins, I realized that the “leftover” legs would look great with the Clone Scout Trooper torsos I picked up at BrickCon, resulting in a batch of space Marines:
…equals the VX-999 – Space Pirate Lair! Dennis Coh emerges out of his year-long building hiatus and presents an innovative cross-genre creation depicting a pirate’s hideout.
Note the ship near the docking port – it is a micro version of Dennis’ Izanami’s Revenge pirate ship. We look forward to more great works from you!
Well, I do. I love 7036 Dwarves’ Mine! It may in fact be my favorite LEGO set in several years.
It’s got great play features that had me running over and showing my wife as I built the set, and as I discovered each new piece, I kept thinking about how I could use them in my own creations. I spent some time a couple weekends ago seeing what hats would fit with each of the new beards. Click the naked bearded guys (I used “blank” minifigs as mannequins) to see the results of my experiment:

MCC III is over, has been judged, and the winners announced! This contest (always a favorite of mine!) always generates tons of excellent microscale creations. This year was no different!
