I’m so glad to be able to talk with you again. It is really the highlight of my week. Don’t get me wrong! Interacting with the people here in The Brothers Brick compound is a great honor and privilege. It is just that they are so far above me that it is nice to talk to some normal folks. Plus, every time I try to start a conversation with one of them, I usually end up with more work. Not sure how it happens, but I’m noticing a trend. My schedule is pretty full as it is.
So what has happened in your world this week? Mine has been rather chaotic. The timer broke on Carter’s tanning bed and he ended up looking rather par-boiled. I couldn’t help laughing. That was a mistake. I’m not sure how the malfunction was my fault but he says it was. I’m sure I’ll figure that out soon. Anyway, right after I replaced the timer, Caylin came looking for me. Her “kitties”, Loki and Athena, needed fed. That’s what she calls the two Saber-Toothed Tigers she had cloned. She said it was for “research” but I don’t think anyone believes her.
Oh, there was some good news! Josh came home from his vacation at “Happy Acres”. The first thing he noticed was that the bowl of roasted peanuts on his desk was empty. That really was my fault. I feel bad. Now every time I see him, he bursts into tears, starts sobbing and crying “Why?” over and over again. I think he needs another vacation, poor guy.

Creations for Charity live stream and final sale
The 2014 Creations for Charity fundraiser is ending on November 30th, and now prices are at their absolute lowest. This is a great time to get a custom creation donated by Lego fans with all proceeds going to buying Lego sets for underprivileged children. Check out what’s for sale before it’s over.
There is also a 24-hour live stream taking place on 5pm EST on November 28th. It is open to the public and hosted by Beyond the Brick. For each man-hour spent on air by any participant, LEGO will donate a set to Creations for Charity. You can learn more and sign up to participate or pledge a donation on creationsforcharity.org.

Registration is now open for the next Philly Brick Fest, taking place from April 23rd-26th at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. The full registration is discounted until December 1st, so get your tickets now.

Brick Fest, the 4-day Fan of LEGO Convention returns to the Greater
Philadelphia Expo Center April 23 – 26, 2015 in Oaks, PA.
The 2015 event will boast more than 90,000 square feet of fan built LEGO creations, interactive building challenges and activities, and merchandise from LEGO resellers and customizers. The 4-day convention brings together Fans of LEGO to play games, learn new building techniques, meet new members of the community, and most of all have fun.

Philly Brick Fest is a LEGO Convention for Fans of LEGO (FOLs). This is a 4-day private event from April 23 – 26, 2015 consisting of games, seminars, building activities, giveaways, and more. Registered attendees also have a chance to meet, mingle, and create new friendships with other FOLs.
Brick Fest Live is the portion of the event that is open to the public. During the public sessions, attendees will have a chance to see the amazing FOL creations in addition to the hands-on attractions facilitated by Brick Fest Live.
