I like the posture of this mech, it has a very organic feel to it. By the way, Brian Kescenovitz is giving away this vignette to the person who comes up with a name for the grey mech. Who doesn’t like free Lego?

ICON Class Command Mech by Brian Kescenovitz
Brian Kescenovitz (Mondaynoodle) contributed a number of mecha and vehicles from his Dawn Forge theme to Keith Goldman’s Zero Hour on Highway 44. Among the ones he’s posted so far, my favorite is this ICON Class Command Mech:
Those feet and the Gatling gun are awesome. See more on MOCpages and Brickshelf.
Ean’s titanic Titanus looms over lesser Bionicle creations
BioniBlogger Ean H. (Arpy) is a talented Bionicle builder himself.
The large wheels from LEGO Power Miners vehicles on Titanus’ forearms give a sense of how huge this mecha is. See more on Brickshelf.
Fredoichi’s little multiped mecha make my heart go thunk-thunk-boom!
Excluding a mention in a roundup back in NoVVember, it’s shocking that we haven’t blogged the LEGO creations of Fredo Houben (Fredoichi).
Fredo’s “Engo – Gunner Type” (above) is chock full of tasty greebles — even the underside of the sloped bricks he used as legs adds an interesting texture.
His older “Magojiro” (below) is no less awesome:
Check out all of this talented builder’s LEGO creations in Fredoichi’s photostream on Flickr.
Motorized LEGO Mech by Shawn Snyder
Shawn Snyder may not be as prolific as some of the builders we feature frequently, but each of his LEGO creations is no less blogworthy. Shawn’s latest mech is 16 inches tall and includes a motor to make it move around.

Pyrefyre’s hardsuit is harder, particularly when apocafied
Alvaro Gunawan (Pyrefyre) has been churning out cool variants on a hardsuit he designed, including this post-apoc version. With minifig legs for arms, it’s fully articulated, and has even inspired some excellent cover versions, like an Armored Paratrooper by KryptonHeidt.
Most recently, Alvaro posted the GSF-702 “Bumblebee”:
I love the slight twist to the rotors, and true to its name, the gun swivels forward from the rear:
Fradel Wishes You a Happy Easter
It may be a Hoppy Easter, actually, as the mecha that Fradel Gonzales (slice151) has built has some pretty beefy looking legs. I picure this thing as leaping and bounding across the battlefield, not plodding like most mecha.
My favorite part of the so-called Easter Whambit, though, is the cute eyes on the cockpit. It’s the perfect camouflage to blend in with those chicks. I’ll have to ask Fradel what a Whambit is, though.
Pokalübergabe chugs into your nightmares (with bonus Starscream)
Alex Schranz (Orion Pax) has captured the moment when a rather scary beastie emerges from a train tunnel. I’m not sure what this little scene means, but I think it’s pretty cool.
While we’re at it, here’s Alex’s latest LEGO Transformers mech, Starscream:
See more of Alex’s great LEGO creations on Flickr and MOCPages.
Olympus Defense Mecha
Mark Neumann (SnowLeopard) displayed his first large-scale mecha in quite some time at BrickFest 2009 last month, and boy is it a doozy.
Gotta love that huge cannon on its back. There are tons more pictures in Mark’s Olympus Defense Mecha photoset on Flickr.
Day’s turn is over : now arrives the night’s.
Moko’s ninja mecha achieves spiritual balance before killing you
Moko‘s latest mecha combines two things that we all know are awesome: ninjas and robots. Black and silver with gold accents, the ninja mecha can seat a minifig — a masked mystery man whose identity remains unknown.
Frank the firebot douses flames, has sparkly gold buttons on his robot jacket
Frank — “Fire, Rescue Android, Revision NK” — joins two of Brent Waller‘s previous job-bots to put out fires, rescue kittens, pose for calendars, and cook chili (I presume).
Like MA-X and Earl, Frank is fully articulated at the head, shoulders, elbows, hands, fingers, waist, legs, knees and feet.
See more pictures of Frank the firebot on Flickr.
