The whimsical mind of Mike Crowley (aka Count Blockula) has no limits. This time, he turns to make something exciting out of the mundane. Check out the “ongoing domestic winter adventures of Snowblower Man!”
“He’s just a regular guy, living in the northeastern part of the United States, trying his best to make it through yet another winter. The first heavy snowfall of the season has hit, and he knows what to do: bundled up in his winter’s warmest, he journeys out into the cold. Into the backyard, with deep and heavy footsteps, he makes his way though the thick, frozen white, all the way to the tool shed, where his finds his rugged and reliable friend waiting.”
Stay tuned to Mike’s gallery, where he plans on making a new vignette each day featuring the Snowblower Man.
You couldn’t tell it’s lego from a distance. Nelson Yrizarry uses white tree leaf pieces to construct the beautiful lattice of a snowflake. The snowflake is sturdy enough to be hung, amazing.

May you eat like a troll and weigh in like a pixie!
Bruce just posted a Valentine’s Day vignette by mumu, so why am I posting about it here on Pan-Pacific Bricks? Isn’t Valentine’s Day common to both the U.S. and Japan? Look closely at the minifigs in this vignette:

In Japan, girls are the ones expected to give chocolate to boys — not the other way around. The interesting thing is, Valentine’s Day on February 14th is followed a month later on March 14th by “White Day,” on which men give women chocolate. You can read all about Valentine’s Day in Japan here.
And what PPB post would be complete without a little something by Izzo? Nothing specifically Japanese about this, but it’s a lovely bar of chocolate:

Mmmmm… Chocolate…
