LEGO stop-motion animation has a long history, going all the way back to LEGO’s own collaboration with Steven Spielberg in the 1990s. Whether you’re into music videos or iconic scenes from your favorite video games, you’ll find lots of great LEGO videos here on The Brothers Brick.

Brickfilmers in the Wall Street Journal

Brickfilmers and Brickfilms.com continues to get more exposure. The Wall Street Journal has just published an article about brickfilming and includes interviews from Michael Green, Joshua Leasure, Robinson Wood, David Pagano, Zach Macias, Lewis Chen and myself, Nathan Wells. Purists should be pleased by my single quote. ;)

The article.

In addition to the article, there are two videos. If you’re interested in seeing brickfilms by those interviewed, click their names. Each link leads back to their Brickfilms Directory of films.

Brickfilming on national TV

True to word, ABC’s series I-CAUGHT aired a four-minute segment featuring brickfilms on the 11th, and within hours several copies were available on the Internet. Included were interviews with Brian Gribbon, Joshua Leasure and David Pagano, and clips from a dozen brickfilms, including my own Infinity Squared.  There is also an accompanying online article.

Brickfilms and Brickfilmers on ABC’s I-CAUGHT, to air 9/11

ABC’s new television series I-CAUGHT will be featuring a segment about brickfilmers and brickfilming on Tuesday, September 11, 9 PM EST.   The story is expected to feature an interview with four prominent brickfilmers: Lewis “Lechnology” Chen, the “Leftfielder” brothers, and Joshua “RevMen” Leasure, owner of Brickfilms.com.  The story is also expected to feature clips from my own brickfilm Infinity Squared, among other brickfilms.  More information can be found here.

The Day Brickfilms.com Crashed

This is a brickfilmer organized by myself and animated by myself and eleven other brickfilmers. Enjoy!

For some reason embedding YouTube clips doesn’t work for me, so here’s the link:

EDIT (AB): Embed’d. I’ll shoot you an e-mail with a couple technical questions.

We like reader submissions. Here’s one from Brian Davis (a contributor over at The NXT STEP):

You can also watch PackBot try to escape from the cruel slavery of its human masters.

Thanks Brian!
