LEGO Overwatch 75974 Bastion [Review]

We recently reviewed 75953 D.Va and Reinhardt from the latest tie-up between LEGO and Blizzard, resulting in a complete line of LEGO Overwatch sets. Let’s take a look at the second-largest set in the theme, 75974 Bastion. The set will be released in January and includes 602 pieces, with a retail price of $49.99 USD — the largest character build in this release of six sets. In the game, Bastion’s default mode is a bipedal robot armed with a sub-machine gun. Its alternate mode is in the form of a turret, leaving it immobile but highly dangerous. This build attempts to capture the essence of Bastion in both these modes. Let’s dive in to see how it stacks up.

First ever LEGO Overwatch set, 75987 Omnic Bastion [Review]

The first ever set in the LEGO Overwatch line was revealed last week as 75987 Omnic Bastion. The set is a Blizzard exclusive with a limited production run for BlizzCon 2018 next month, however a small amount has been made available for purchase online in the Blizzard Gear Store.

The exclusive set contains 182 pieces and sells for $25.00 USD until supplies run out. More than likely, this set will not be part of the full LEGO Overwatch line available generally when it launches sometime in the next few months, so we suggest getting it before it becomes unavailable if you are interested.

Blizzard Entertainment, the studio behind multiplayer first-person shooter game Overwatch, unveiled an exclusive, limited edition LEGO Omnic Bastion building set today, available for purchase online in the Blizzard Gear Store and later on-site at BlizzCon 2018 on November 2 and 3, 2018, in Anaheim, California.

Bastion is a hero in Overwatch with two modes: Recon, and Sentry. The set also includes Bastion’s bird companion, Ganymede, which can be perched atop Bastion’s shoulder plate. LEGO 75987 Omnic Bastion retails for $25 USD and is available now in the Blizzard Gear Store online.
