Exclusive limited edition LEGO Overwatch 75987 Omnic Bastion set announced, available now [News]

Blizzard Entertainment, the studio behind multiplayer first-person shooter game Overwatch, unveiled an exclusive, limited edition LEGO Omnic Bastion building set today, available for purchase online in the Blizzard Gear Store and later on-site at BlizzCon 2018 on November 2 and 3, 2018, in Anaheim, California.

Bastion is a hero in Overwatch with two modes: Recon, and Sentry. The Omnic skin reflects the appearance of Bastion units during the Omnic Crisis, and is not the default tan and green skin Overwatch players begin with in game. The set also includes Bastion’s bird companion, Ganymede, which can be perched atop Bastion’s shoulder plate. LEGO 75987 Omnic Bastion retails for $25 USD and is available now in the Blizzard Gear Store online.

Really dislike the stud shooter. They gave it a base as if it’s a display model, but don’t make an accurate gun. If it’s not for display and playable then make add a function allowing him to transform in to the turret. So I dislike the weird middle ground, and in addition he’s not in accurate colours. Maybe someone else can explain why they chose that skin. It’s not his default one, and it’s not the color of the purple omnic bastions.

overall excited for the line but not pleased by this one

This is the original Omnic Crisis Bastion, which had an orange paint job. The purple paint job your referring to is from the Null Sector part of the story. I agree that they should have gone with classic grey and about the stud shooter being an odd choice though, but they were probably trying to insert some color. Still excited for future sets.
