Friday Night Fights (Round 17)

Welcome back fight fans, to Sin City Nevada for another bare-knuckle edition of Friday Night Fights! Tonight’s bout is a rematch of the most recent Iron Builder battle; a chance for redemption or utter humiliation with YOU the public as the ultimate judge instead of a panel of highly acclaimed turbo-nerds. Let’s go to the tale of the tape:

And fighting out of the blue corner, from “The land of green shins“… Gilcélio “El Guapo” Chagas and his “Star Wars“.

As usual, constant reader, you are tasked with deciding the outcome of this pugilistic endeavor by way of comment. On the last record breaking edition of Friday Night Fights, the battle of Hipster vs. Manga-Nerd, Mike Dung emerged the battered victor by a narrow margin of 10-8. Swiss Army Knife

The Iron Builder throw-down between Simon Liu and Andrew Lee continues to produce great models, despite a challenging seed part. This time onosendai2600 draws blood with a clever rendition of perhaps the world’s most famous pocket knife / multi-tool.

Tough Competition

I couldn’t decide which I liked better. I really couldn’t. The heat is on between Andrew Lee and Simon Liu with this most recent Iron Builder. I (along with many other girls my age) really find Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine easy on the eyes, so there’s a point there. But the GRID is just so stunning.

Behold, the Power Cosmic!

Andrew Lee’s (onosendai2600) most recent offering in his Iron Builder Challenge with Simon Liu (Si-Mocs) is an amazing Bionicle version of the Silver Surfer. The challenge is for each builder to create models utilizing a “secret” ingredient, much like Food Network’s Iron Chef competition. In this case, they are using the Silver Bionicle Weapon Air Katana. Andrew has re-purposed them to make the Cosmic Surfboard of Galactus’s Herald. All that you know is at an end.
