Supreme Leader Kylo Ren’s new headgear

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hit theatres just a few days ago and LEGO fans have already started to produce some amazing creations. One that stands out is Petros Nicolaou’s rendition of Kylo Ren’s helmet. While I was a fan of how it was destroyed in The Last Jedi, I love how it was reforged in a Kintsugi kind of way in The Rise of Skywalker.

The repaired helm adds an extra level of beauty and badassery. And as cool as it looks on film, it looks just as cool represented in LEGO. The shaping of Kylo Ren’s unbroken helmet would itself require some skillful parts selection to achieve all the right angles and shaping. Add in the veins of red keeping it all together, and any builder would have an extra difficult challenge of them. It seems Petros was up to the challenge though. Take a closer and see that all the pieces seem to fit together.

LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy Star-Lord helmet is wearable

The legendary outlaw Star Lord of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is brought to life in LEGO with a replica of his helmet built by master of LEGO cosplay Brickatecture moc industries.The face mask is perfectly shaped and detailed to be instantly recognizable from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and comics. The brick-built hairstyle is an interesting choice that works well.

Of course, like Brickatecture’s Venom mask, the Star-Lord helmet is hollow yet sturdy, making it wearable by its creator.

Stunning LEGO Venom mask is fully wearable

The symbiotic anti-hero Venom comes to life in LEGO bricks in a lifelike replica helmet/mask built by Brickatecture moc industries. Shaping is on point in his interpretation of Tom Hardy’s Venom, with tooth plates adding a bit of texture to the jawline and eye.

What makes his Venom mask interesting is the open right side, revealing the symbiote’s host face underneath. It’s a smart decision that adds a lot of character to the build, and shows off the model’s true scale as a life-size mask.

Wearable LEGO Star Wars Jango Fett helmet

Lego Admiral continues his impressive series of wearable LEGO helmets with a build of bounty hunter Jango Fett’s helmet from Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. The builder continues to refine his techniques since constructing his Darth Vader helmet replica, nailing the dome shape on top, the iconic T-shaped visor slot, and indented cheek plating. The fold-down rangefinder is a nice touch.

Lego Admiral shows the Mandalorian helmet is not only screen accurate in the bricks, but is also wearable.

Wearable LEGO Darth Vader helmet

The Force is strong with Lego Admiral and his life size, wearable LEGO Darth Vader helmet. The detailed features of the iconic face mask and breather are captured well with the bricks, as is the smooth paneled shaping of the dome.

LEGO Star Wars Death Trooper helmet is fully wearable

Director Krennic’s Death Troopers are as intimidating as they look in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. This elite armor design comes to life in LEGO bricks with a wearable helmet constructed by YouTuber Spencer Hubert. Spencer utilizes techniques I used on my LEGO Halo helmet for the dome on top, and the results are instantly recognizable. Wearable LEGO ODST helmet from Halo is ready for a combat drop

Ever since I had the chance at Brickworld Chicago 2011 to wear my good friend Ben’s LEGO Master Chief helmet, I wanted to construct a helmet myself. It was far more difficult to build than I expected, and was nothing like building other 1:1 scale builds. I’ve attempted this project before – first time in late 2011, and second in mid 2015, both failing. Finally, in 2016, I found a frame solution that worked well, and now I can present a wearable LEGO ODST helmet from the Halo series.
