Sometimes all you need are a small number of pieces to create something wonderful. That is exactly what Brickshelf user Jetboy (badjoy) did with this Black Temple. The use of the technic tread links to form the columns of the Greek style temple is ingenious!

ZCerberus sure knows how to build a nice castle village scene. The elemental monster is also a cool creation by itself. But, what really caught my attention on this MOC is the ingenious use of Power Functions on the scene. Both the moving tentacles and the leaning tower are what makes this creation really great.

Sean and Steph Mayo (Siercon and Coral) present an amazing fantasy creation called Faerie Forest. From the tree spires to the textured river that weaves through them, this diorama is bursting with interesting details. Check out the Flickr set for more pictures.
When something this marvelous and huge pops up on the internet, there isn’t much to say. Just lay back in your chair and enjoy the pictures. What I like the most about this castle built by LegoLord isn’t just the size, but the fortified and massive feel it gives. It looks like it serves its purpose well – defense. I would feel safe inside this one.
There are a number of things that caught my eye in Stefan‘s latest creation, The Vintner’s Shop. The lovely color for sure, but then I took a closer look. The detail on the windows on the second floor! The cobblestone road! I had to do a double-take for the stairs to the entrance, too. Just lovely.
There are definitely some good techniques. I highly recommend a closer look!

Daniel Z presents the best Lego rendition of Helm’s Deep I’ve seen. In addition to its massive scale, the creation maintains a high quality such as seen in the texture of the landscape. Unfortunately it does not appear that any official Lego Lord of the Rings minifigs or new parts were used, which leads me to believe that the creation was made before their release. But overall, one cannot deny this majestic recreation of an epic battle.
This awesome creation by Eero Okkonen shows just how awesome Bionicle and Hero Factory based figures can be. This fierce Viking warrior named Ragnfast stands ready to do battle with both his axe and his mug.

A P (Sirens-of-Titan) just built and wrote chapter 10 in his Rise of the Mage series. You can again take a look at a couple of beautiful creations built to follow a very cool story. Here are my favorites – Street in the city of Prestlaff and city slums.
This is a splendid little diorama by flickr user SweStar, depicting the summoning of a Stone Golem. The uneven base is very nicely done, and the builder has found a great way to incorporate the spirals of transparent 1×2 plates.
Almost shockingly, I have managed to build something. I’ve been having quite a lot of fun lately playing with Neo-Classical architecture in microscale, and the recent abundance of good microscale pillar pieces, like the telescope piece, are conducive to that. Anyway, here’s the Temple of Ehlonna, goddess of the Forest, who makes her home in a great ancient tree.
I really love all the angles and curves on this small brilliant castle. Even the base is round instead of rectangular. Another original detail is all the ‘legwork’ on the water. Be sure to take a look at other castles from Lukasz Wiktorowicz as this one is definitelly not his only ace.
