Happy holidays, fellow LEGO builders, on day 6 of our epic advent calendar extravaganza. We’re replenished our supply of gingerbread and are ready to get building. So many doors to open this year: Friends and Disney, City and Harry Potter, Star Wars and Spider-man! Does everyone have their humbugs and hurrahs ready?

As ever, our intrepid TBB team is on hand with witty comments, insightful observations, and bad jokes for each day’s builds. And of course, you can add your own thoughts in the comments section each day! So without further ado, let’s crack open the build for day 6…

Today’s Friends gift is a micro doll version of Olly, Heartlake’s future fashion designer and Paisley’s best friend. He comes with a propeller beanie to show off that flare for statement accessories. Disney gives us Moana’s terrific, radiant, and humble friend Pua. The Polynesian pig also sports a statement hat. Very dapper.

Harry Potter brings us another blond boy in the form of young Draco Malfoy, paired with a Slytherin crest.  From City, a radio-controlled sailboat.

Star Wars keeps to OG trilogy vehicles with a Y-Wing micro build. In the Spider-man box, we have a hot dog cart, just in case Venom needs seconds.

Today is definitely dominated by statement hats. But what do the others think?

Theo: The micros have been pretty good in Star Wars so far but this Y-wing looks a little anaemic. The sailing boat is great though. But OMG the pig in a top hat is so cute!!

Daniel: For sure, the pig wins… Actually many of the animals have been pretty great so far.

Bre: Agree, Pua in a top hat is great. Happy to have the Slytherin printed tile. Other builds are decent enough.

Kyle: There’s a pig in a top hat. I didn’t even see any of the other calendars today because there’s a pig sitting there in a top hat! Can I just get 5 more of that, please?

For the first time, we have a unanimous winner. Congratulations, Pua-in-a-top-hat. You win a Hickory Farms gift certificate. And Draco, you  look pretty cool with your hair down. Maybe try that look at Hogwarts next semester.
