After it’s debut 87 years ago, an iconic structure found in an early Disney movie will finally be making its way to LEGO store shelves next month. Featuring 10 minifigures in total, LEGO Disney 43242 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Cottage depicts the straw-roofed structure, addition to a wishing well and glass casket. All 7 dwarfs make an appearance, as well as the titular Disney princess, the Prince, and the evil Queen wielding a poison apple. The set is also strewn with a wealth of woodland critters, including a bunny, squirrel, butterfly, and plenty of birds. This slice of 1930’s animation will be available from the LEGO website beginning on March 1st for Insiders, but those not in the rewards program will have to wait three more days to get a crack at the new set. Whenever you’re able to get your hands on this 2,228-piece model, it will retail for US $219.99 | CAN $289.99 | UK £189.99.

Today the LEGO Group unveils the enchanting LEGO|Disney Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Cottage set, a tribute to the very first Disney Princess character. This quaint forest cottage meticulously recreates the memorable details from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film, now in brick form.
Based on the original 1937 Disney Animation film, this 2228-piece set contains 10 minifigures, including Snow White, the Seven Dwarfs, the Prince, the Queen with the red apple, as well as accompanying animal friends. A wishing well featuring a dove is also included, along with the glass box, depicting Snow White’s awakening.
Nestled deep in the enchanted forest, the iconic cottage is packed with nostalgia, from the bedroom with seven beds, to the room with the pipe organ, baking table, sink and cupboards.

Well let’s see, there’s Snow White & the Huntsman (2012), its sequel The Huntsman: Winter’s War (2016), and Mirror Mirror (2012) were all big movies with big names that a lot of people know about. There are also six films simply titled Snow White (1902, 1916, 1933, 1961, 1987, and one in production for 2025 which is from Disney). Larry, Curly, and Moe made Snow White & the Three Stooges (1961). The even more slapstick goofs at The Daily Wire have one in production called Snow White & the Evil Queen (Release date unknown). So, yes, I’m pretty glad this set is based on Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs (1955).
Thank you, Johnny Johnson. My point was that considering it is Disney license, connecting a set to the new 2025 version for “modern audiences” would not have been surprising at all.
