Oh my god, that Batman set is horrible. The only redeeming feature is those gorgeous minifigs, but that Tumbler is atrocious!

I was SOOO excited when I read “The Bat” and “Tumbler” in a set name, but boy am I disappointed :( The first series of Batman sets were AMAZING, but these…not so much. Why have they made them all so “kiddie” this time around? Guess I’ll just have to head to Bricklink and build my own damn Bat and Tumbler…

Why Ninja Turtles? Is Ninjago discontinued? Who cares for Ninja Turtles. The cartoon was nice, but everyting after that sucks. Is the cartoon running again somewhere on TV?

The more I look at the Shellraiser (how did they get away with that name?), the more I think I like it as a playset. I’m curious about the overall piece count, but it doesn’t look too bad as a $60 set. Maybe it is a little small, but I’m willing to give licensing and figure costs a bit of a break. The eight year old me would have eagerly saved his birthday money for this set!

I’m not sure I’m keen on the theme of TMNT, but I’m digging the minifigs…
I for one like the tumbler design. Small enough that it looks like it would work well on a Lego street and still hold up under a lot of play from a kid. Plus, small enough that I could probably make some more with bricks from my collection. :P

Yeah there’s a new TMNT cartoon but it’s not as big as BEN10 was and look where that licence fell. I grew up with TMNT and I love new licences but I honestly don’t see what I’d do with a set like this. It’s not very good modelling and the figures aren’t useful for much other than a TMNT MoC.
