LEGO Shop sales & deals for Black Friday 2015 [News]

Not to be outdone by the LEGO discounts on Amazon, the LEGO Shop online has more than a hundred items on sale starting at midnight Eastern (9 PM PDT) tonight through next Monday. Shipping is free on all orders (not just over $75), and you get a free gingerbread house on all orders over $99.

LEGO sent me an early copy of this set, and it’s adorable, with 277 parts, including more cupcakes than I can count and plenty of “brick bricks” and cute printed 1×1 tiles.

Brickmania Black Friday / Small Business Saturday sales [News]

Another great LEGO-centered small business we love to support here at TBB is Brickmania, led by talented designer and all-around great guy Dan Siskind.

Dan and his team in Minneapolis have posted daily deals all week this week, leading up to the massively discounted Fokker Dr.1 — The iconic Red Baron’s tri-plane from from World War I. It’s discounted from $195 to $95 starting at midnight tonight.

Brickmania has been releasing a new custom kit at the rate of about one a week for months now, and I’ve been eyeing this gorgeous M3A1 Scout Car for the last few weeks.

Like other BrickArms resellers (including Citizen Brick and GI Brick), Brickmania is also a great place to stock up on the types of custom accessories that LEGO will likely never produce.

Citizen Brick deals for Black Friday / Small Business Saturday [News]

I’ve never regretted a single purchase I’ve ever made from Citizen Brick, and the CB team are some of the nicest people in the LEGO vendor community I’ve had the pleasure to meet. While you load up on all those discounted bricks on Black Friday, consider spending some of your LEGO budget to help support this innovative, boundary-pushing small business as well.

Supplies are limited (I’ve missed some pretty awesome new items myself in the past), so take a nap after that turkey dinner and set an alarm for midnight Central Time so you can get shopping!

As always, Amazon.com is kicking off their Black Friday deals early with their Black Friday Deals Week. I expect we’ll see some big deals later in the week, but there are some hidden gems right now as well.

75092 Naboo Starfighter is 22% off, at $38.92.

75082 TIE Advanced Prototype is 20% off, at $31.99.

75053 The Ghost is 26% off, at $66.31.

76021 The Milano Spaceship Rescue is 26% off, at $55.25.

There are a lot more sets on discount, but I’m running out of room here. Meanwhile, Benny’s Spaceship and Mos Eisley Cantina remain 20% off or more.

If you missed it at 25% off a couple months ago, 70816 Benny’s Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP! from The LEGO Movie is on sale again from Amazon, available at $75.95 instead of $99.99 (about 24% off).

Weekly Amazon LEGO Deals – Hobbit, Ninjago, Architecture & More

This week’s Amazon LEGO sales feature some really decent sets and remember, you can still get these in time for Christmas! It’s getting close so finish up your shopping while you can. Here is are couple of sets that I thought were interesting.

LEGO The Hobbit Dol Guldur Ambush 79011

This set is currently available for $15.99, down from $19.99. That seems like a good deal. This is the only set that has Beorn, plus you get two Orcs. Could be good for building up your Orc army and all that dark grey is great for building cliffs or other landscaping.

LEGO Ninjago 9450 Epic Dragon Battle

This one is an expensive set but is marked off quite a bit. It’s currently available for $87.87, down from $119.99. It comes with some good figures and over 900 pieces that are good for creature building among other things. I’m rather tempted by this one.

LEGO City Police High Speed Chase 60007

This is a fun, little set. Currently available for $22.39, down from $29.99, it has lots of vehicle parts, of course. It also has decent figures and a length of light grey track.

LEGO® Architecture Brandenburg Gate 21011

This one is on sale for $26.40, down from $34.99. These Architecture sets are over-priced, in my opinion, but if you are looking for this set or just want it for all the tan and sand-green, this price is much more reasonable.

LEGO Chima Target Practice 70101

This small set is rather fun and would make a good stocking stuffer-type of gift. It’s heavily discounted at $6.38, down from $14.99. It’s not worth the original price but is great at the discounted price. It includes a Chima figure, some weapons, a spring-loaded dart gun, a Speedor and a variety of parts. The Speedorz are actually rather fun and are made up of some interesting and useful parts. Definitely worth it if you can get them on sale.
