Do you hear that, readers? That’s the sound of Christmas getting ever closer! And what better way to count down to the big day than with day 11 of TBB’s LEGO advent calendar roundup? That’s just what we’re doing, so why not join us as we open up the City, Friends, Star Wars, Harry Potter and Marvel calendars on offer this year?

As ever, our intrepid TBB team is on hand with witty comments, insightful observations, and bad jokes for each day’s builds. And of course, you can add your own thoughts in the comments section each day! So without further ado, let’s crack open the build for day 11…

Finally! Another minidoll in the Friends calendar. No snowsports equipment this time, but Leo here does come armed with a snowball. We also get a minifigure in LEGO City – a young gamer guy.

Not to be outdone by City yesterday, Marvel gives us another fireplace, but with Thor’s hammer atop the mantelpiece. For Harry Potter, it’s an owl and mailbox, while Star Wars has an AAT to bolster the miniature Separatist forces.

Bart: LEGO keeps getting better at these Star Wars micro builds.

Kyle: Star Wars just doesn’t want this to be a contest anymore, do they? Another great win, and I’m left wondering where the micro-builds are at from the other calendars. Some brick-built animals from Friends would be great here.

Lino: I’m glad Pauly D is finding work again.

Lino, I nearly spat out my mulled wine reading that comment. I think that’s an odds-on favourite for the coveted TBB Advent Calendar Rundown Joke of the Year award!
