Two new LEGO Harry Potter sets revealed by online retailer [News]

Pictures of two upcoming LEGO Harry Potter sets were published today on Amazon’s Spanish webpage. 76388 Hogsmeade Village Visit and 76389 Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets seem to be two of the largest sets of the summer wave. The product pictures give a great overview of the models and the minifigures included, but we still have to wait for the official reveal to learn about the prices and availability.

These look great. I’ve been hoping they’d do the Chamber of Secrets with the rocky exterior for under the Great Hall in the current caste line-up. Hopefully they’ll go back and add that and not just use it here. It should be interesting to see how they keep the line going after they wrap up the Deathly Hallows sets.

Hmm, some cool builds, although as a non-Harry Potter-fanatic, the most interesting parts to me are the hairpieces and the neutral female black head of teacher Aurora Sinistra. (The latter a kind of part we need a lot more of.)

In the last picture it also shows the third floor corridor with fluffy (76387) and the girl’s bathroom (76386)

I kinda like this dollhouse compatibility way of distributing sets. It reminds me somewhat of the Playmobil Victorian Dollhouse theme from the 1990’s (which contained a main dollhouse, an empty expansion floor set, and various sets with furnished rooms to pick from).
