T’was the night before Lifeday and all through the galaxy, not a creature was stirring, except…except…ah heck, nothing rhymes with galaxy! Andreas Lenander re-imagines the storybook scene set with a Star Wars twist, showing Lord Vader reading a heart-warming tale of the treacherous Rebellion, and that fateful night when they destroyed his favorite battle station.
This reminds me of Jeffrey Brown’s novelty books “Darth Vader and Son” and “Vader’s Little Princess”.
This is a nice build, but the whole meme of “Daddy Vader” playing nicely with his kiddos will always feel weird to me.
He tortured his daughter, killed her entire PLANET, and then violently maimed and traumatized his son. Is this really the analog we want for parent-child relationships?
