LEGO just revealed Barb minifigure as the Stranger Things Exclusive Minifigure that will be available at San Diego 2019 Comic Con. The fate of the fan-favorite citizen of Hawkins, Barbara Holland left many displeased. Finally, LEGO does justice for Barb in its own way; the minifigure will make a perfect addition to LEGO Stranger Things 75810 The Upside Down set. The minifigure can be obtained as part of a randomized draw on July 19th at the LEGO both in San Diego Comic-Con.

I don’t think teasing the fans with a minifig they can never own is doing anything “justice”. That’s like offering to help someone who’s fallen down by kicking them.
Ah great, another needlessly exclusive minifigure that’ll just be scalped for hundreds of dollars. Why can’t this be released in a polybag sometime later after the convention, while those who did attend get the unique packaging instead. A compromise.
Ok, I’m not even a Stranger Things fan, and this is pathetic from Lego. You release a set with every main character from the show EXCEPT the fan favorite, and then you release that fan favorite as a comic con figure that is seemingly exclusive. WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?
@The Anonymous Hutt:
Yup, it’s exclusive. In the lower left corner is the SDCC50 bug, and right at the top of that, in red “You Can’t Have This” sub-theme text is the word “EXCLUSIVE”.
Maybe they’ll put it up as a VIP items… for like 50,000 points.
As long as they eventually release a set that has Steve in his Scoops Ahoy outfit, I am good with whatever.
You think $200 was a lot for the set, wait till you get hit up for $400 on ebay to complete your Stranger Things collection. Way to stick it to everyone Lego.
(well unless you’re not a Lego fan, going to SDCC and looking for an AFOL to flip the bill for your ticket, then you’re in luck!!)
