This was the biggest week of LEGO news of the past several months, with hands-on coverage from LEGO’s Fall Preview event in New York City as well as numerous product announcements — with more yet to come! This is our weekly Brick Report for the third week of May 2018.

TBB COVERAGE FROM LEGO’S FALL PREVIEW EVENT IN NYC: LEGO’s selection of sets unveiled at Toy Fair 2018 back in February was more limited than in years past, but LEGO invited TBB to a special Fall Preview event. Don’t miss all the new products we were able to play with!

TV show (yes, the title itself includes an exclamation point) is yielding a full wave of LEGO sets, including a blind bag assortment similar to Collectible Minifigures.
- LEGO Powerpuff Girls sets hands-on coverage from the Fall 2018 Preview event – With the LEGO Dimensions video game canceled, LEGO puts its inventory of Powerpuff Girls figures to good use with a range of sets.

TBB LEGO SET ANNOUNCEMENT NEWS: Ahead of the event in New York, LEGO shared even more details with TBB about upcoming sets scheduled for release this summer and fall.
- LEGO Harry Potter Fall 2018 sets – The last complete wave of LEGO Harry Potter sets was way back in 2011, and many fans are going nuts over the return of the theme. Check out our first look at official photos of the complete lineup.
- LEGO Harry Potter BrickHeadz series – We’ve come to expect a full set of adorable BrickHeadz characters from each LEGO theme, and the return of Harry Potter is no different.
- LEGO Star Wars Fall 2018 sets (part 1) – Snoke’s Throne Room from The Last Jedi joins the next wave of LEGO Star Wars sets.
- LEGO Star Wars Fall 2018 sets (part 2) – LEGO returns to Hoth with a Medical Chamber, Bacta Tank Luke Skywalker, and an easier way to get Princess Leia previously only available in the UCS Falcon.
- LEGO Batman App-Controlled Batmobile – Due out in August for $99.99, this chunky Batmobile incorporates a “smart” brick you can control from your phone or tablet.
- LEGO Ninjago 70658 Oni Titan – The villainous robot unleashed by Garmadon at the end of Season 8 (oh sorry, SPOILER warning!) gets its own LEGO set.
- LEGO Minecraft Fall 2018 sets – LEGO Minecraft sets continue to provide meta-building opportunities as well as some unique printed parts.
- LEGO City Trains Fall 2018 sets – Our first look at the next generation of LEGO City Trains reveals new control and power technology.
- LEGO BrickHeadz Ghostbusters Peter Venkman & Slimer – Joining Marvel, DC, Jurassic World, Star Wars, and now Harry Potter, the next wave of LEGO BrickHeadz characters includes two iconic characters from the classic 1980’s Ghostbusters.
- LEGO Architecture Statue of Liberty & Great Wall of China – LEGO’s tour of world landmarks continues with the next wave of LEGO Architecture sets.

- Royal Wedding BrickHeadz from LEGO, LEGO social media – The LEGO Group celebrated yesterday’s Royal Wedding with BrickHeadz characters of the bride, groom, and some in-laws, plus a trio of adorable LEGO toddlers.
- LEGO media days in Billund, Denmark – LEGO has invited TBB to another media event next week, this time at their headquarters in Billund, Denmark. LEGO has teased the unveiling of the next LEGO Technic supercar, a Bugatti. We’ll be on hand at the press conference on June 1st, so check back here on Brothers-Brick.com for coverage next week!
