After a long break, German builder Sylon-tw is back into his assembly hall proving that his futuristic airplanes are still dominating LEGO skies. Instead of the dieselpunk go-to colors of grey, dark blue, bright red, or reddish brown, Thomas goes for bold black on the body and elegant decorations of white and dark red stripes. Combined with short droid bodies, theĀ dinosaur flippers work perfectly as propeller blades. And in a nice change from convention, the aircraft has a fetching female pilot.
Actually John Hall also puts female pilots frequently in his planes, so it is not that unusual ;-)
I like the pilot’s wig. Is it a genuine Lego piece? (And if yes, what’s it’s ID number?)
Captain Mutant: Looks like Ariel’s hairpiece to me. You should be able to find it on Bricklink/Brickset.
You’re right it is. Thanks. It’s from the Disney minifig version, not the doll version which might make it harder to source. :)
