Gorgon heads are traditionally pretty fantastic weapons for defeating mythological monsters, but they do have their drawbacks: namely, you’ve got to keep your eyes shut, so you’re never quite sure you’re pointed the right direction, as this lovely little vignette by workshysteve demonstrates.
This is a beautiful, simple build. It tells a great story in a tiny space. Love the Kraken, and the photography is stunning. I wonder how that reflection was achieved? Almost looks like its sitting on colored glass.
My guess is that it’s sitting on a piece of glass over blue paper. A simple technique, but a very effective one.
