Living in the lap of luxury in a million dollar home made with 10,000 (digital) LEGO bricks

Builder aukbricks is known to the community for making amazing architectural creations that are rendered with LEGO parts but using only parts that exist and in its corresponding colour as well. Technically that means it is possible to build everything that you see here with real authentic LEGO elements. The cost at which to build it in its entirety with bricks is another thing altogether. It won’t cost you a million dollars for sure, but nevertheless this design is really what a million-dollar home looks like. In fact, I’d say it’s a steal at a million dollars if it really existed anywhere on this planet. There’s more than meets the eye with a beautiful facade but a fully furnished and designed interior that makes this a total standout effort and creation.

The build itself features a foldable design that looks like it could sit perfectly on a 32×32 LEGO baseplate. Coloraturas wise, the facade is made up of tan bricks in a slightly clean modern look and perhaps influenced by a Victorian touch with arches and pointed roof motifs.

The folded parts which make up the back facade are almost mirror images of the front with slight decorative details that differ. Once folded, the front facade features a bench flanked by two lamp posts at the edge of the building and a front entrance.

The back has two tall trees that block the centre of the facade windows and a bicycle parked beside a trash can.

The entrance itself is so inviting and a red carpet leads you to the decorated door.

The living room takes up two sections at the second level. A chandelier hangs over the left section with a two-seater settee with a brick built blood-red drapes. Two candlesticks and a sculpture rest on the top of the fireplace mantle. A red patterned carpet to match the drapes with frilled edges are made with grill tiles.

The left section of the main living room is dressed with the same drapes but has more space for the minifigure dwellers to roam. We get a closer look at the fish ornament that screams out the expensive tastes of the dwellers.

The kitchen is situated at the same level as the living room and a cosy one at it too. A table that sits four and a sink and coffeemaker can be seen almost hidden beside the refrigerator. The drapes don’t draw down all the way and leave the windows exposed.

The recreation room at the attic and features a large TV screen with a stack of presumably console games, a pool table and a couple of nano-figures depicting toy statues. A poster of the movie “Forever Sorting 2” is a unique piece that appeared in the Joker Manor from 2017.

If I had to take a guess, someone that resides in this home is an architect. The study room has a desktop working area with a separate table that has buildings and architecture displayed in a working area. The wall features a map of New York taken right out of the Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters sticker piece.

The second study room has two desks facing each other and a cupboard for odds and ends stacked high.

Every exquisite home needs a beautiful bathroom. Adorned with gold taps and showerheads, the chequered tiled floor looks is spick and span.

We’ve left a few rooms out from this article intentionally and encourage you to visit aubricks Flickr stream. There’s more to discover in the music room, storeroom in the attic and the bedrooms, all left for you to explore and find delightful details.

Of course it’s a LEGO building area, and that’s a meticulously sorted and curated piece collection, not “odds and ends”!
