Revealed just a short while ago at the San Diego Comic Con, this first official look at one of the new Hobbit sets is exciting! While there’s no official description to accompany this photo (yet) for those who weren’t at the SDCC, it’s pretty obvious that it’s not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: [it’s] a Hobbit-hole, and that means comfort, aka, Bag End. And it looks gorgeous. Also, that’s a big hammer.
Looks great. Like a very well done MOC. Though I’m not sure I like the dwarves headgear.
The headgear looks just like whats seen in the movie trailer to me. I’m very excited for this set, love detail! Especially that map of Middle Earth there just inside the door.
Also…the title says sets…not set….am I suppose to be seeing anything but Bag End?
WOW! Looks really nice. Wish I were somewhere near San Diego. Anywhere I look (read – browse the web) it’s all Comic Con, Comic Con, Comic Con. :/ It’s frustrating. Why don’t they have it here in Zagreb. :D
Sarah, well, presumably there will be more than one set, and this is just the first look. :)
Well it’s still better than LEGO tweeting a link to it and then posting a picture of the Rancor pit! :p
Nice looking set! So much green!
