Zombie Apocafest 2009 BrickArms Defense Pack debuts in 72 hours [News]

Why yes, that is a BrickArms Cricket Bat and M1 Carbine.

BrickArms Zombie Apocafest 2009 Zombie Defense Pack

Thanks to the generous folks at BrickArms, we’ll be giving away a bunch of these to those of you who contribute to Zombie Apocafest 2009 at BrickCon 2009 later this week. Each Zombie Defense Pack will include a prototype cricket bat and M1 carbine, along with other great stuff that remains Top Secret.

The cricket bats in particular will be in short supply outside these packs, and there will be a limited number of packs, so be sure to build something awesome.

    I pulled my hair out trying to brick build a WWZ lobo. I hope, I dream. This may be my first step toward the dark side of custom accessories. Vile temptors!

    Ochre, only if you impale a zombie on it.

    After some really frustrating moments last night as I pushed myself to work when I was too tired, this really helps me get back in the game.

    That and I think my wife will kick my butt if I don’t actually do something after the mess I’ve made of the dining room table.

    Yeah, our dining room table and chairs are all covered with the vestiges of my building process at the moment, as are half the living room couch and coffee table.

    @Ryan H: Grammatically, yes, but it’s a label/status, thus the capitalization. ;-)

    An M1 Carbine? That rocks!!! Too bad I handle one at work on an almost daily basis.

    A cricket bat on the other hand, that kicks ass!

    Okay, just kidding, a Lego scale M1 is awesome, and I would love to get my hands on that cricket bat… if they become available in a non-exclusive pack, I’ll pick em up.

    Do we need to bring something huge to get a pack, or is it on a first-come first-serve basis? I won’t get in until maybe 6 or 7 Thursday, so hopefully some packs will still be avalible.

    Cricket bat? I can see some English country Sunday scenes coming up, the smell of fresh cut grass, the crack of leather on willow, tea in the pavilion….
