Portland’s biggest LEGO convention, Bricks Cascade 2020, is next weekend [News]

Portland’s premier LEGO convention, Bricks Cascade, is returning to the Oregon Convention Center next weekend. On February 29th and March 1st, builders from around the country (including several LEGO Masters contestants) will showcase thousands of amazing LEGO creations. There will be activities for kids of all ages including play areas, car racing, and photo opportunities. Vendors will also be selling minifigures, rare LEGO sets, LEGO-themed jewelry, custom gifts, and more. 

Tickets are $11 for an individual day pass or a $40 for a family four-pack day pass (kids under 3 are free). For the extremely excited LEGO fans out there, two-day passes are available online as well. Tickets are available either at the door, select Safeway locations or online. The show hours are 10am to 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

There will be activities for kids of all ages including play areas, car racing, photo booths and more. Vendors will also be selling minifigures, rare LEGO sets, LEGO-themed jewelry, custom gifts, and more.

Bricks Cascade 2013 LEGO convention in Portland, Oregon

The 2013 North American LEGO convention season kicks off on March 7 with Bricks Cascade in Portland, Oregon.

Registration is now open. Here’s the official announcement:

Portland, OR – The Portland Lego Users Group (PortLUG) and Bricklandia, Inc. are pleased to announce Bricks Cascade 2013 open registration!

On Thursday, March 7, 2013, starting at noon, Friday, March 8, Saturday, March 9, and Sunday, March 10, 2013, our doors will be open for Convention members to attend our 2nd Brick Convention at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.

Games, classes, competitions, and LEGO related announcements/ products will enhance the experience for convention members. Please go to http://www.brickscascade.com/page/convention to register and give automated PayPal payment to attend the convention. Introductory admission into Hall A for convention members and the entire event is $52 a person.

Public Exhibition of the event and its displays will be on Saturday, March 9 and Sunday March 10, 2013. Admission to the public display will be $8 per person, $28 per family (2 adults and up to 3 children).

Bricks Cascade 2012 convention open for registration [News]

The North American LEGO convention season is coming up surprisingly soon, beginning with Bricks by the Bay in mid-March and wrapping up with BrickCon in October.

The newest LEGO convention will be held June 1-3, 2012 in Portland, Oregon. Here’s the official description for Bricks Cascade.

Bricks Cascade is a convention held in Portland, Oregon, open to Adult Fans of Lego who excel in building various items of detail whose existence beg a public display to the community. Attendees of the Convention must be at least 18 years of age, or if under 18, can only obtain registration if accompanied by a registered adult. The convention officially begins on June 1st 2012 and ends on the evening of June 3rd, 2012.

Friendships, knowledge sharing, and building techniques are just a few benefits gained by attending the convention. More details can be given about this convention on this web site in the coming months. All Convention Attendees pay $52.00 during our initial registration period.
