About Josh

Josh is 30+ years old and has more Lego than he has hair. Which really isn't saying much. He builds mostly medieval creations, but dabbles in other genres. He is also a father and uses his kids as an excuse to buy Lego. That justification isn't working as well as it used to, so if you can think of a better justification, feel free to contact him. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Josh's Brickshelf gallery gets messier and messier. Josh also has a Flickr gallery, if you care about such things. He goes by the name "floodllama" there. If you wonder why he goes by "floodllama", you've obviously never owned a llama in flood. Josh feels sorry for you.

Pegasus Knight by Yours Truly

Well, here I am, tooting my own horn. This is my attempt at a custom fig for the Colossal Castle Contest 4. Virtually all of it is customized, only the wings and plume are unaltered Lego. It was definitely a fun build. Hope you enjoy it!

Sampan by Sir Lomero

Sir Lomero has built a cute little sampan. The tile work on the sides gives this a rather elegant feel and the lantern is a great design. But what really makes this stand out is the brick-built sail! The use of the wedges gives the sail a beautiful curve and makes this boat tand out. Good Job!

Camel Warrior by Tim Gould

Tim Gould (aka Gambort) recently posted this sweet camel and rider on Classic-Castle. Its an excellent example of a brick-built beast. In fact, I don’t think I’ve seen a better camel anywhere. The turban is also a great touch.
