Now in its 22nd year, the longest-running LEGO fan convention is back at it again with the 2023 theme “Journeys.” And appropriately so, as BrickCon is moving to the other side of Lake Washington this year for a bigger venue: the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, WA. The 4-day convention is also moving to an earlier point in the calendar, now happening Thurs. – Sun., September 7th – 10th (with public viewing days on the 9th and 10th). As always, adult builders and fans will be able to take part in games, presentations, display opportunities, prizes, and more. With the change in venue also comes a change in available lodging for the event. BrickCon wants to highlight the nearby Courtyard by Marriott and Hotel 116 as options available to attendees. Rooms at these hotels start at $189 and $139 per night, respectively.

Annual convention is at a new date and location

BrickCon is back! This year will mark the 22nd BrickCon, and we are excited to welcome all Adult Fans of Lego from all over the world and the masses of public visitors who want to be a part of the fun. As the premier Lego convention of the Pacific Northwest, every year BrickCon welcomes over 450 convention attendees that create over 1000 amazing Lego exhibits.
Big changes
This year’s event marks some big changes to the convention. Traditionally, the annual event is held the first week of October at the Seattle Center. However, BrickCon has grown so large, that more space is needed to accommodate all the exhibits, attendees, vendors, activities and members of the public. This year’s convention is at a new location and date, the Meydenbauer Center Sept. 7-10, with the public viewing days Sept. 9-10.
