Welcome back fight fans, to Sin City Nevada for another no holds barred edition of Friday Night Fights! Tonight’s bout is a struggle of military logistics featuring two young-guns of the hobby. Let’s go to the tale of the tape:

Fighting out of the red corner, from the great State of New York…Nathan (Ɲ.) and his Cowboy Beboats.

As usual, constant reader, you are tasked with deciding the outcome of this pugilistic endeavor by way of comment. On the last edition of Friday Night Fights, the so-called Mosaic Massacre, Tommy Williamson a.k.a. The Lompoc Lightning-bolt knocked out his opponent 5-1. Tune in next week for more action!

    Beboats!

As much as I like the Unimog I’m a sucker for boats like Ɲ.’s. Also Cowboy Bebop.

    Tough call on these two.

I love me some Cowboy Bebop, and the boats feature some pitch perfect details. The turbines chassis look fantastic and I love the mix of grey LEGO.

The Unimog Transport uses some fun techniques to preserve the referenced vehicle’s shape. And I dig seeing the new olive green color in use. Plus, the slightly opened lids on the crate are a sweet touch.

When the hair gets split: Beboats!

Ironsniper’s Unimog is awesome – some tricky stuff to get the design right, and always a challenge to make a scale model of something real and well-known. It even passes the thumbnail test.

Military Logistics… an under-appreciated field of endeavor if ever there was one! My vote is to the boats. The use of the truck tarp, and that brown tile with the wood grain… too good to ignore. Both builders did outstanding work. Well done gentlemen. Attack!
