Pirates Overhauled!
Inspired by the recent debut of Forbidden Cove forums, Chris Malloy has posted an incredible redo of the classic pirate set Lagoon Lockup. Chris tried to use modern building techniques while remaining true to the original. I think he succeeded and I certainly hope this talented builder continues with more Pirate Overhauls.

A fitting tribute to a great set.
I especially like the keg and a decent table for the golden chalice. The little island with extra shrubbery is a nice touch, too.
I would have preferred to see the white cobble stones arranged with precision to suit the rest of the build, and, well.. no backdrop.
Great work.. go forth and fix more sets!

Oh man what a great idea. I remember when that set was released, and this is just as fun. Makes me want to try something similar.

Seriously, if some of the people who made these creations used them as sets for brickfilms! :) This is great!

Wow, nice work. I like how he used the butt of a pistol as a spout for the keg.:)

I started out to remake Eldorado Fortress, but the final product was so vastly different that I had to change the name. Way to stick to the original!

This is a great (re)creation and a wonderful tribute. It should be put into productions ;)

That is a good keg… and I’m glad there’s more figs in this version.
