TBB NEWS AND REVIEWS Wow, we have a lot of news to catch up on, since many of our TTB contributors were busy at Seattle’s BrickCon 2025 last weekend, where we hosted a fun collaborative display of a Steampunk-themed world’s fair. LEGO announced the very first $1,000 set, the Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series Death Star (referred to by many as the Death Slice). Also, a wave of holiday-themed LEGO sets was revealed (is it just me, or do they launch these sets earlier every year?). On top of all that, we got a new take on LEGO sets inspired by the natural world with the reveal of the new LEGO Ideas Mineral Collection. For another dose of news and reviews, be sure to check out our last Brick Report.

TBB NEWS AND REVIEWS We feasted on LEGO Star Wars last week, with a bunch of new sets announced, including the highly anticipated AT-ST UCS set that looks to add tons of great details to the classic chicken walker. This week, we get a robot from another franchise, the latest Transformer to join the lineup. Soundwave and his two cassette tape pets were one of those toys that I played with so much that I broke both of the mini-bots from repeated transforming. And while K2-SO may not be the droids the Empire was looking for, He has been eagerly awaited since the Disney+ series Andor brought so many characters from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story back to mind. Still hungry for more LEGO news? Sink yer teeth into last week’s Brick Report for a tasty snack.
