Best not to ask what the secret ingredient is...

Bard Jaskier is cooking up a storm in this Warhammer inspired LEGO build. The longer you explore this build, you’re certainly rewarded with the subtle detail scattered around the scene from the rock detail framing the build to the bones littering the floor. Take a look at the cauldron, an inverted tire captures the perfect size and shape with the snake pieces perfectly looking the part for wisps of smoke from the – well, best not to think about what’s cooking…

The Ogre itself is a fantastic build and apart from the bigfig hands this is fully built using a mix of tile and plates flourished with little details to create the imposing frame of the ogre with a literal handlebar moustache and earring finishing the off the Ogre perfectly.

Exploring the Ogres lair brings you to the cages above the cauldron, droid arms replicate cast iron bars so well here and the minifigures held within display perfect expressions. The tree holding them and the chains hanging from its boughs really compliment the cages too.

At the top of the article, I mentioned you’re rewarded for exploring this build a little longer. Around the base of the cauldron amongst the log fire, a light brick is used to great effect illuminating the hot embers. I’m looking forward to seeing what Bard Jaskier builds next!
