Thought this was a good idea but we live in a 3D world and Lego is a perfect product to use to create a 3D map. OK it will never be a scaled model but a world map is never to scale anyway. May be Lego will sell a add on pack to show mountain ranges, deserts etc.
It has inspired me to look at Lego in a new light and maybe I will go out and buy some 32×32 plates and a ton of coloured 1×1 plates/tiles.
