Go for a stellar pedicab ride in a LEGO Millenium Falcon [News]

To celebrate May the 4th and the upcoming summer blockbuster Solo: A Star Wars Story, LEGO Master Builders created a Millennium Falcon pedicab out of 20,300 bricks that you can take a ride on if you are lucky enough to be near Bryant Park in New York City today.

The one-of-a-kind model took 396 hours to design and build and measures nearly nine feet long. We can only imagine how heavy the pedicab is and hope it isn’t too hard to give all those rides in the “fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy.”

LEGO is also using the model as a charitable fundraiser. For every photo of the Millennium Falcon pedicab tagged with #LEGOStarWars and #RoarForChange, Lucasfilm and Star Wars: Force for Change will donate $1 to UNICEF, an organization that helps save children’s lives around the world.

The fundraiser will last until May 25th, so post away to help support a good cause through our mutual love of Star Wars and LEGO. May the 4th be with you!

It has pedal assist on it, you can tell by the gear on the handlebars. It’ll be a slightly faster hunk of junk until the battery runs out!
