Last summer, we featured a lovely microscale LEGO hobbit hole by Austrian builder Patrick B. Recently, he’s shared a full-size minifig-scale version of Bag End, full of verdant landscaping and lovely touches like a beehive and snail.

Bilbo and later Frodo’s home isn’t some “nasty, dirty, wet hole… nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole.” This hobbit hole has a detailed interior with wood paneling and plenty of space for entertaining unexpected guests.

The round windows incorporate wagon wheels as frames, and the variety of flowers and little tools lying around make closer examination worth your while.
