10213 Shuttle Adventure blasts off in June [News]

The only thing that makes me sad about the announcement of the new 10213 Shuttle Adventure set is that the Space Shuttle program itself is ending this year. I’ll take some small consolation from swooshing this new set around my house.

The set includes 1,200 pieces, costs 100 USD, and ships in June. I’ve uploaded a full set of pictures to Flickr:

Woohoo! Ok, I’ll admit it, I’m super-excited about this set. And this set looks really good too.

Good thing that Russia is keeping its Space Station program alive.

And now that it’s confirmed that there’s water on the moon, hopefully they can set foot on it!

This looks great and I can’t wait to pick a couple of these up in June. A lot of good parts here and just an overall cool set. I too will enjoy swooshing this around my house.

Oh no no no no, It should be minifigure scale :( I mean actual figure scale too.
LEGO should also have the crawler that moves the shuttle. I guess we can make that :)

No no no, you can’t only use the pieces inside the box to build what’s pictured on the outside of the box. Let’s crank this up to 4x the size and also include the crawler! I have $1000 burning a hole in my wallet.

This may be the most exciting set of 2010. I can’t wait!

My bank account may only have like $200 left in it, but I’ll definitely be buying this.

I had the classic space shuttle with the crawler and everything, and this is so much more exciting.

Yes i want this sooo bad! And they might extend the space shuttle into 2011, and they are thinking about paying comershial companies to ferry suplies and crew to station, bc stupid obama and his spending!

Andrew, isn’t there a way to block contributors names from being used?
