      Yeah, they make this a while AFTER they create the UCS Millenium Falcon I spent a lot of money on.

      Folks were buying this like crazy at the Lego Store opening in Columbus on Friday. They kept bringing out cases of the things. They had an empty UCS box on the shelf, and when people asked about it, they looked stunned at the price.

      Yeah the price is astonishing.

      People go “The Star Wars LEGO license will never end, sells to well”. That’s all lovely, but sense the renewed license the prices have gone up at least 50%, and on some sets 100% over what they would be just a few years ago. If LEGO needs to keep upping the price they will have to make an X-Wing that cost $150.

      It was what 5 years ago (really? That long?) when there was nearly a 1,000 MF with minifigures for $100. Even today it would “only” be $120-$130, that’s only three time the price of this PoS.

      However I haven’t been a LEGO Star Wars fan since they made all the ships like $50 sets.

      Nannan bought about 20 of these during our TexLUG meeting at the Dallas store on Saturday.

      Hehe, kidding.
