Fine Art, LEGO’d

Hippotam over at Polish LEGO blog Klocki has found some really cool fine art in which the subjects have been turned into minifigs.

Here’s Edvard Munch’s “The Scream” LEGO’d by Joel Grannas:

And a self-portrait by Vincent Van Gogh LEGO’d by “nismo4banger”:

(Sorry for the huge sizes — I just think they’re better big.)

  1. Great pictures. Klocki’s proving to be a very engaging blog, even if I can’t understand it.

  2. Agreed. Hippotam’s constantly finding stuff I haven’t seen before.

  3. I’m glad you like the blog.
The credit for finding these goes to our fellow Kubrick (nice nick, btw) who have posted it at Lugpol’s forum.

  4. [...] These remakes of 2 classic paintings, Edvard Munch’s “The Scream” and Vincent Van Gogh “Self Portrait”, have the main subject turned into a Lego character mini figure. The result is quite special and I would love to see more of these lego masterpieces. [via Brothers Brick / Klocki] [...]
