2025 LEGO Advent Calendar Spoilers: Day 24 [Feature]

All good things must come to an end. Today brings us to the end of our Advent Calendar adventure. Thanks for coming along with us for 24 days of surprise gifts. We hope you enjoyed the bonus builds and banter.

We have an all-star cast of custom minifig creators leading our Advent adventure this year. Fool’s Figures is wizarding his way through Harry Potter and Frozen calendars. ExpansionBricks is launching Star Wars and Friends. And beyondb0nes is digging into Minecraft and City. Now let’s open some doors and see what gifts are in store for today!

Fools: Harry’s (Or his dad’s, James) Patronus is our last wizardly gift this holiday season. I think it’s a suitably whimsical build, but looking back over the calendar as a whole it certainly feels lacking this year, especially compared to other themes.

Bones: Like yesterday’s Disney gift, trans-light blue is a win. Somehow it looks even more goofy than the ones from previous days. It’s also really cool to get four of those new slopes here.

Fools: Our last Disney gift is this stage-frame thingee.

Fools: I thought it was a nice little way to display a figure, but even these tiny microdolls don’t fit on the build, so I’m really not sure what the point is.

Bones: Maybe it’s some kind of fancy entrance gate for that tiny village?

Jake: In any case, it’s… not good. Especially as the grand finale.

Fools: The full village lineup.

Jake: Underwhelming is an understatement.

Fools: My personal Patronus, a bat!

Bones: And to finish, the same gift as every year: Santa Claus. What can you say about this minifigure that we’ve seen so many times? Dual-molded legs, as has been the case for several years, a nicely printed torso on the back. Yes, Lego certainly has Santa Claus down to a science by now.

Fools: Santa Claus is a fitting final figure, but not a single print looks unique. A bit disappointing.

Bones: We had to wait until the last day, but here it is: the first Christmas-themed Minecraft minifigure of this calendar, featuring a recolored Pixelated Witch Hat in red, a new face with white eyebrows, and a brand-new Santa torso in this pixelated style. And that’s not al, we also get a small oven with two printed bricks. Quite the gift to finish off this calendar!

Fools: This Santa Villager takes the cake for me. I think this is the single best gift out of every single calendar we’ve gotten this year.

Jake: Suddenly classic City Santa feels inadequate with just his sack.

Bones: Santa Claus greets our brave little warriors with pastries!

Jake: That tree costume is such a great element. And Santa looks quite chill with his hands in his sleeves.

Expansion: A reindeer plushy on a sleigh. Awesome to get another plushy recolour and that print is adorable. The build is a bit awkward because it looks like minifigure legs are supposed to slot onto the front but… minidolls don’t have minifigure legs. Also, if we are going blow for blow on value, the City calendar got a plushy ages ago, so for it to be the finale of the Friends calendar feels a tad underwhelming. 4/5

Ex pansion: BB-8 printed up as a snowman! This is a perfect advent calendar addition, but in 2012 we got a similar R2D2 snowman and that wasn’t even the final window. That’s right – in that same year we got a uniquely printed Santa Darth Maul in window 24. The Christmas sweater figs have been fun for the last few years but who doesn’t want to see Palpatine dressed as the big red guy? 5/5

Fools: This snowman BB-8 is super fun, I’m glad that at least the Star Wars calendar continues the tradition of having a unique festive figure for the last day.

Bones: That BB-8 is a really cool addition. Even if it was made to look like a snowman, the droid line details look hand-drawn to me, like some sort of concept art turned into LEGO, which I absolutely love.

Expansion: C-3PO seems to be treated like royalty by critters everywhere he goes. Here he is being carted around in a fancy carriage pulled by an eager little dog.

Expansion: Look closely in this family photo and you’ll see I couldn’t resist the urge to turn BB-8 into a clay pot.

Bones: This works so well as a Chinese pot! The small drawn lines are absolutely spot-on

Fools: The Final Frozen layout.

Jake: LEGO has made plenty of board-game lids before. I wish they would commit more to the game and at least have things to collect along the way.

Fools: Harry Potter feels a bit more substantial with its 8 figs.

Jake: A noble effort, but I think this falls short of last year’s more minifig-scaled entry.

Bones: The city lineup smiles for the camera.

Jake: The costumed figs are a great addition that really elevates this year’s mix! Great timing with the new CMF theme as well.

Bones: Here it is, all of your Minecraft gifts.

Jake: A really impressive debut calendar! Even if you’re not a Minecraft fan, there are a lot of interesting parts. Probably my pick for best calendar this year.

Expansion: Friends final roll call!

Jake: The side-builds are a mixed bag,  but the sleeping bag bonus made each minidoll day feel generous, and kids will love all of the pets.

Expansion: And last but not least, your Star Wars gifts assemble!

Jake: I was skeptical after the first couple of sub-builds for Babu Frik’s workshop, the the final mix is rich with play potential and surprisingly substantial. Some great rare characters, too. One of the more coherent calendars. Next time, though, you’re on Gonk duty!
