Today, LEGO revealed the next wave of Marvel sets arriving on January 1, 2026. Five minifig-scale let builders of all ages recreate epic superhero battles for play or display, while adult collectors can assemble the 1297-piece Iron Man Mark 3 Collectors’ Edition. Spider-Man continues to get an outsized starring role in the Marvel theme. Full details and comments follow.
We had the chance to see this set up close at Fan Media Days, designed by Creator 3-in-1 wiz Aaron Newman, and it is a stunner. While not a fully articulated buildable character, the Mark 3 can rotate its arms and hips to achieve iconic Iron Man poses. The included minifig is also a new print, which should appeal to collectors. Personally, I find this model to be the ideal collectible form of the hero who built the MCU. The only strike against the set is that it comes so soon after the Iron Man Mk 4 bust, which is more a sentiment about the aggressive output of display models for big IP. I wonder if when we’ll be getting our next Collectors’ Edition character?

While not as detailed as the 18+ version, it should fit nicely alongside this year’s line of Spidey landmarks, like the Oscorp building. UK fans are in for a sting with unusually high pricing relative to other markets.

This year we got some pretty great tributes to the first two Sam Raimi Spider-man films. Next year sees this tribute to Sider-Man 3. It’s interesting (and welcome!) to see LEGO playing around with display models at a modest price point for a change. While a 9+ set, LEGO is clearly still hoping to snare nostalgic millennials in this web.
